Reservation and Cancellation
Reservation:
A deposit of US$300 per person and a copy of your passport are required at the time of reservation. All documents / tickets will be issued under your passport name. Reservation will automatically be cancelled if deposit is not received by Ritz Tours within 7 days after confirmation of the reservation.
Final Payment:
Full payment is due 60 days prior to your departure date. If payment is by credit card, we will charge the balance at the time of ticketing (approximately 30 days prior to departure date). If payment is not received by the due date, the reservation will be subject to cancellation and deposit will be forgeited.
Cancellation:
The following fee will be assessed per person accordingly when you cancel your reservation:
  • US$100: 120 or more days prior to departure date
  • US$200: 60-119 days prior to departure date
  • US$300: 30-59 days prior to departure date
  • US$500: 15-29 days prior to departure date
  • US$1000: 3-14 days prior to departure date
  • 100% of tour fare: Within 48 hours prior to departure date including no shows on departure date.


  • Written notice of cancellation must be received by Ritz Tours either by mail, fax, or email. Oral cancellation by phone will not be accepted.
  • In addition to the above stated cancellation charges, if tickets for airlines, cruises or trains have already been issued or final confirmation has been received at the time of change reservation or cancellation (regardless of number of days prior to departure), the traveler will be assessed an additional airline, cruise, or train cancellation penalty and service charge pursuant to the rules and regulations of the suppliers.
  • Ritz Tours reserves the right to issue airline tickets immediately upon receipt of your tour deposit.
Tour Fare Includes  
Travel Protection Insurance:
Ritz Tours provides Travel Protection Insurance to customers at no additional cost when full payment is received by Ritz Tours 60 days prior to departure date. Optional protection plan is offered at your own expense when you make reservation or final payment within 60 days prior to departure. Insured customers should direct any claim request to the insurance company.
Air transportation:
Round trip international air ticket included as specified in itinerary. If final payment is not received by Ritz Tours 60 days prior to departure date, or reservation is made within 60 days from the departure, the airfare is subject to a surcharge. Air routing is at the discretion of Ritz Tours for all of our tour packages. All taxes, fees and surcharges associated with airline tickets vary by airline, and are subject to change at any time during the year. Clients are responsible for any such extra charges should they occur.
Hotel Accommodation:
Based on two adults sharing one twin bedded room, double occupancy. A customer who travels alone is required to pay a single room rate. When hotels listed in brochure are not available, similar category hotels will be substituted with no prior notice.
Meals:
Meals included as specified in itinerary.
Sightseeing:
While sightseeing program is specified in the itinerary, its final arrangement will be determined by local tour escort based on circumstances which are beyond the control of Ritz Tours such as weather, any acts of God, dangers, incidents to the sea, fire, breakdown in the machinery or equipments, acts of government or other authorities and wars under local condition. However, we will adhere to the original itinerary as accurately as possible.
Admission / Entrance Fee:
All necessary main entrance fees mentioned in the itinerary are included.
Prices Do Not include  
Any personal expenses such as visa fee, passport fee, porterage, excess baggage charge, phone bills, postage, laundry, drinks, insurance premiums. Charges arising from deviation; Meals not mentioned in this brochure; Tips for tour guide, drivers, or porters; Transportation from your hometown to the gateway city; Any expense due to delay or change of schedule, over booking of accommodation, default of any third party, sickness, weather, strike, acts of God, acts of terrorism, force majeure, acts of government・s civil disturbances, war, quarantine, customs regulations, epidemics, criminal activity or for any other cause beyond Ritz Tours・ control; Any optional tour or activity not included in the itinerary; Any arising charges and fees levied by airlines, local, state, or federal government agency.
General Conditions  
Unused tour features:
Unused tour features: Any unused tour features either on air transportation or for land arrangements are not refundable, exchangeable nor transferable.
Tour Prices:
All prices are in US dollars and are based on tariffs and currency exchange rates as of February 1, 2008. These rates are subject to change as deemed necessary and fair by Ritz Tours.
When the total number of tour members should fall below tweny persons, Ritz Tours reserves the right to cancel the tour or operate as a locally hosted tour. If the tour is cancelled, the tour fare except visa fees will be refunded.
Passport / Visa:
All customers・ passports must be valid for at least 6 months from the return date of the tour. For details of entry visas, please consult with travel agent. Ritz Tours is not responsible when passenger is denied entrance for any reason at foreign country, even if you have a valid passport and visa. All visa fees are non-refundable for any reason, and are subject to change.
Baggage:
Baggage is at owner・s risk throughout. For traveler・s convenience, baggage allowance is suggested to one check-in and one carry-on per person. Excess baggage charge and insurance is at owner・s responsibility. Baggage allowance varies by airlines and is subject to change at any time. For up to date baggage allowance restrictions, please check airline・s website before departure.
Deviation Charge:
In addition to the airline, hotel, cruise line, train surcharge, there will be a US$50 per person service charge for any deviation from the tour.
Change fee:
After reservation confirmed, US$50 per person fee will be charged for each of the subsequent changes. Once documents / tickets have been issued, no change is permitted.
Charge for Children:
For children 11 and under, if they share room with two adults, not asking additional bed, they will be charged 75% of a regular adult fare; If they request an additional bed in the same room, the rate will be 90% of the adult fare. For children 12 and over, they will be charged at the regular adult price.
Ritz Tours reserves the right to exclude passengers as a tour member, when such person・s health, mental condition, physical infirmity or general deportment impede the operation of the tour or the rights, welfare or enjoyment of other tour members. Any unused tour feature either on air transportation or on land arrangement is not refundable, exchangeable nor transferable.
Health:
To ensure the smooth operation of the tour, Ritz Tours recommends that travelers be in good health. Consult your physician regarding to your wellness and ability to travel long distances. Any physical or mental disability which requires special treatment or attention must be noted at the time of reservation and a close companian is required.
Shopping:
To meet your shopping needs, certain shopping stops during the tour have been arranaged by the local handling agency. Although Ritz Tours・ tour director is happy to assist you with any shopping requirements, we do not take any responsbility for any items purchased at shops on the tour. Any after sales corespondence must be between the customer and the shops. Observe US Customs restrictions when bring in any goods from tour.
The airlines, airport, bus company, hotels, or local travel agency have their own regulations and insurance policies protecting its clients regarding to safety and other issues during the trip. Consumers should contact related operator directly since Ritz Tours is not responsible for what the insurance of the third party tour supplier covers.
Late bookings:
Last minute booking (inside 60 days prior to departure) will be assessed a US$50 per person surcharge and will be taken only with full payment, and subject to availability.
Client privacy:
Ritz Tours will not discuss or disclose any details of our client・s trip with any third party other than the client・s authorized agent, the airlines, hotels, land and cruise operators.
The reservation and payment for Ritz Tours・ any tour shall be deemed to consent to these terms and conditions.
Responsibility  
Ritz Tours, as tour operator, acts only as agent. All travel arrangements included in this trip are made on participant・s behalf upon express condition that neither Ritz Tours nor its agents shall be liable or responsible in the absence of its (or their) negligence for any direct, indirect, consequential, or irregularity of any kind which may be accessioned by reason of any act or omission of any person or entity, including without limitation, any act of negligence or breach of contract of any third party such as an airline, train, motor coach, private car, cruise vessel, boat, or any other conveyance, hotel, sightseeing provider, local ground-handler, etc., which is to or does supply any goods or services for this trip. Participant understands that Ritz Tours neither owns nor operates such third party suppliers and accordingly agrees to seek remedies directly and only with those suppliers and not hold Ritz Tours responsible for their acts, omission or commission. Without their limiting the foregoing, Ritz Tours and its agents are not responsible for any losses or expenses due to delay or changes of schedule, overbooking of accommodations, default of any third parties, sickness, weather, strike, acts of God, acts of terrorism, force majeure, acts of government・s civil disturbances, war, quarantine, customs regulations, epidemics, criminal activity or for any other cause beyond its control. All such losses or expenses have to be borne and paid for by the participant.
Ritz Tours accepts no responsibility for value, reliability, quality or authenticity of any goods purchased while on tour or for any mailing, freight or shipping arrangements. Ritz Tours reserves the right to decline, to accept, or retain any person as tour participant, should such person・s health, mental condition, physical infirmity or general deportment impede the operation of the tour or the rights, welfare or enjoyment of other tour participant. Ritz Tours reserves the right to substitute hotels, and alter the itinerary, withdraw any tour and make any desirable alteration for the convenience of the operation of tours. Ritz Tours reserves the right to cancel the tour prior to departure for any reason. Liability for such cancellation is limited to full refund of money received by Ritz Tours, and this will constitute full settlement with the tour member. All tour fares shown are based on the present value of foreign currencies in relation to the U.S. dollars in effect on February 1, 2008, and in current tariffs on the same date and are subject to change. The local handling travel agency reserves the rights alter or adjust its costs. In the event that the local handling travel agency increases the cost of any service, tour fares are subject to adjustment. The right is reserved to cancel the tour prior to departure for any reason. In such case, a full refund of all payment will constitute a full settlement with the participant. The local handling travel agency has sole and exclusive control over the operation of all tours. The local handling travel agency reserves the right to make alterations or adjustments in the itinerary as to destinations, transportation, accommodations and all other services. Neither Ritz Tours nor any subsidiary or affiliate of Ritz Tours shall be responsible for any such alterations made by the local handling travel agency.
Baggage is carried at owner risk and baggage insurance is recommended. Ritz Tours is not responsible for typographical or printing errors or omissions in this brochure. Ritz Tours accepts no responsibility for cost, which may occur as result of a participant failing to secure adequate insurance coverage, which coverage is highly recommended. Generally, your health insurance does not cover expenses outside the USA. Ritz Tours is not responsible for participant・s visa or passport requirements, nor will a refund of unused services be made, nor reimbursement of any additional expenditure if a participant is denied entry to a country for this or any other reason.
The general conditions under which you agree to utilize the services of Ritz Tours may not be amended in any way, except in writing, by an authorized officer of Ritz Tours. By utilizing the services of Ritz Tours, you agree that the exclusive venue for all claims shall be the County of Los Angeles, State of California, and such claims shall be determined according to the laws and jurisdiction of the State of California.
The reservation of the tours shall be deemed to be consent to the above terms and conditions.
