Passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the returndate of your trip.
No visa required for US passport holders. It is the responsibility of non-US citizen travelers to obtain proper visas of all countries.
U.S. Resident Aliens need both passport and Alien Resident Card for re-entry to the United States.
Carry emergency contact person・s name, address and telephone number with you at all time.
Keep travel documents, passport, personal necessities and valuables with you at all time and make a copy of them.
US$500 in cash is generally enough (but not for purchase of big item or any entertainment).
 Medical Requirements & Travel Insurance
Travel Protection Insurance is provided at no additional cost to you if final payment is received 60 days prior to departure. Due to the long trip and different geological conditions, it is best to consult your doctor before departure. Remember to pack your own prescription medicine with full label and some over-counter medicine for flu, indigestion, car sick, vitamins, insects, etc. In case of illness, please immediately advise your tour conductor and/or local guides for further assistance.
 Air ticket taxes / Airport taxes / Airline Fuel Surcharge
Tour fare, airline fuel surcharge, and taxes for ticket and airport must be paid at the time of reservation. Fuel surcharges may vary by locations and airlines, and are subject to change at any time as well as taxes.
 Clothing
Choose clothing for the season when you travel, but preferably for summer and in cotton or linen. Sweaters and lightweight jacket are suggested for mountain areas & Hong Kong. To enter casinos, proper attire is required for men and women while T-shirts, tank tops, slippers, and shorts are prohibited. Beach garments, saddles and light backpacks are recommended for Pattaya, Thailand.
 Baggage
Baggage is at owner・s risk throughout.
Baggage allowance may vary by airlines and is subject to change without notice. Please check with airline online before departure.
The standard free baggage allowance of Cathay Pacific Airways is 62 in/157 cm each with size (length+width+height), and maximum free weight is allowed 44 lbs/20 kg. For your own convenience, we suggest one checked and one carry-on piece per person. To avoid overloading your suitcase, the less is the better.
All luggage must have a lock and tag listing the name, address in the US, telephone number as well as tour code. Use luggage tags provided by Ritz Tours for easy identification.
Consider including one night・s essentials for whole family in one of the suitcases or in your carry on bag to avoid inconvenience in case of loss or delayed flight.
Keep your personal necessities and valuables with you instead of packing them in check-in luggage.
A light backpack instead of a big luggage is recommended for the Genting Highlands, Malaysia.
 Things to Carry
Casual attire, comfortable walking shoes, saddles, sunglasses, hat, sun-block lotion, insect-spray, swimming suit, rain coat and short pants, etc...
Books & magazines, cassettes, walker-man and snacks, etc. Hair dryer, shaver, voltage converter (220V for South East Asia and adapters.
Camera, camcorder, battery, film, solution for contact lenses, etc.. You may have no time to look for these items on tour besides it may cost you more expensive.

 Information About Your Trip
To make your trip more interesting & fruitful, it might be a good idea to collect some information of the culture, language, customs and habits of the places you will travel to.
 Meals & Entertainment
Meals will be provided as specified in itinerary; breakfast only for Hong Kong.
It is of customer・s own decision to join in and pay for any optional activity provided by the local operator. Ritz Tours does not take any responsibility of it.
 Tipping
Tipping is at your discretion. As a guideline, Ritz Tours recommends the following gratuities (per person per day):

Local guides, drivers & porterage -US$5.00

For the protection of your own interests, read carefully your itinerary and hotel information before departure. Leave a copy to your family.
Jewelry and birds nets are taxable when entering Malaysia; Birds nets are not allowed by US Customs. Observe US Customs restrictions when bring in any goods from tour.
A nice & smooth trip counts on every group member・s high cooperation. It is important for every group member to follow the indicated meeting time and meeting point. Use red color name badge provided by Ritz Tours for easy identification. Allow enough time for airline check-in: 2 hours for US domestic travel, 3 hours for international travel.
