Deposit:
A deposit of US$300 per person is required at the time of confirmation of the reservation. Reservation will automatically be canceled if the deposit is not received by Ritz Tours within 7 days after confirmation of the reservation. A copy of passport should be provided to Ritz Tours. All documents and tickets will be issued under the passport name. Ritz Tours reserves the right to issue airline tickets immediately upon receipt of your tour deposit.

Final Payment:
Final payment of the total tour fare is due 60 days prior to the departure date. If your payment is not received by the due date, the reservation will be subject to cancellation and deposit will be forfeited.

Cancellation:
The following fee will be assessed per person accordingly when you cancel your reservation:

• US$100: 120 or more days prior to departure date
• US$200: 60-119 days prior to departure date
• US$300: 30-59 days prior to departure date
• US$500: 15-29 days prior to departure date
• US$1000: 3-14 days prior to departure date
• 100% of tour fare: Within 48 hours prior to departure date including no shows on departure date.



• All cancellation written notice must be received by Ritz Tours either by mail, fax, or email. Oral cancellation by phone will not be accepted.
• In addition to the above stated cancellation charges, if tickets for airlines, cruise or trains have already been issued or final confirmed at the time of cancellation (regardless of number of days prior to departure), the traveler will be assessed an additional cancellation penalty and service charge pursuant to the related supplier’s rules and regulations.

Travel Protection Plan Insurance:

• When you confirm a reservatin and final payment is received by Ritz Tours for a scheduled group series (exceptions: online specials or any other promotions) at least 60 days prior to departure date, Ritz Tours will provide full coverage of your vacation travel (limited to U.S. and Canada residents) through AIG Travel Guard, a third party insurance carrier, at no additional charge.
• We also offer an optional protection plan at your own expense, when you make reservation or final payment inside of 60 days prior to departure.
• Insured customers should direct any claims request to the insurance company.

Air Transportation:

• A round trip international air ticket is included with the tour for passengers departing from San Francisco(SFO), Los Angeles(LAX), or New York(JFK).
• Please consult your travel agent regarding the air fare if you are departing from gateways other than the airports specified.
• Ritz Tours reserves the right to change international airline used.
• Air routing is at the discretion of Ritz Tours for all of our tour packages.
• All taxes and surcharges associated with airline tickets are subject to change at any time during the year. Clients are responsible for any such extra charges should they occur.
• If final payment is not received 60 days prior to departure date, or reservation is made within 60 days prior to departure, the air supplement is subject to apply.

Hotel Accommodation:

• Based on two adults sharing one room, double occupancy.
• Please specify single or double beds you request at the time of reservation. Generally hotel rooms in Europe are small and compact. Ritz Tours does not have contracts with the hotels for triple rooms. Triple room is not available.
• A customer who travels alone is required to pay the single room rate.
• When the hotel listed in the brochure is not available or additional rooms are required, the same category hotel will be substituted without prior notice.

Meals:
Meals included as mentioned in the itinerary.

Sightseeing:
While sightseeing program is specified in the itinerary, its final arrangements will be determined by local tour escort or tour manager based on circumstances which may be beyond the control of Ritz Tours, such as weather, acts of God, dangers, incidents to the sea, fire, breakdown in machinery or equipment, acts of government or authorities and wars under local conditions. However, we will adhere to the original itinerary as accurately as possible. Any unused tour feature either on air transportation or for land arrangement is not refundable or exchangeable.

Admission / Entrance Fee:
All necessary main entrance fees and cruise tickets for the programs mentioned in the itinerary are included.

Any personal charges such as phone bills, postage, laundry, drinks, Insurance premiums, porters, beggage handling service, excess baggage charge, passport, visa fees, etc.

Any optional activity not included in itinerary.

Any meals not included in itinerary.

Tips to tour guides, drivers, bellmen, etc.

Transportation between your hometown and gateway city.

Charges arising from deviation, any expense due to delay or change of schedule, over booking of accommodation, default of any third party, sickness, weather, strike, acts of God, acts of terrorism, force majeure, acts of government’s civil disturbances, war, quarantine, customs regulations, epidemics, criminal activity or for any other cause beyond Ritz Tours’ control.

Any arising charges for airport taxes, air ticket taxes, fuel surcharges, and any fees levied by local, state or federal government agencies.

Unused tour features:
Any unused tour features either on air transportation or for land arrangements are not refundable, exchangeable nor transferable.

Tour Price:
All tour prices are in US dollars and are based on tariffs and currency exchange rates as of November 1, 2007. These rates are subject to change as deemed necessary and fair by Ritz Tours.

When the total number of tour members should fall below 15 people, Ritz Tours reserves the right to cancel the tour or operate as a locally hosted tour. If we cancel the tour, the tour fare except visa fees will be refunded.

All tour programs mentioned in this brochure are mainly narrated in Mandarin Chinese with brief English summary if necessary.

Baggage:

• Baggage is at owner’s rick throughout.
• Baggage allowance for international flight may vary by airlines and is subject to change without prior notice.
• Travelers are required to check online before departure. As of November 1, 2007, the standard free baggage allowance of American Airlines is two pieces per person for checked baggage with size allowed (length+width+height) 62 in/157 cm each, maximum free weight allowed 50 lbs/23 kgs each; Carry on baggage is limited to one piece with size allowed 45 in/114 cm and maximum free weight allowed 40 lbs/18 kgs.
• Excess baggage charge and insurance is at owner’s responsibility.
• For your own convenience and the bus capacity, we recommend one check-in luggage and one hand-carry small piece per person.

Passport / Visa:
All customers’ passports must be valid for at least 6 months from the return date of your trip. Please consult your travel agent if you have a non-US passport. Visa fee is non-refundable for any reason. Ritz Tours is not responsible when you are denied entrance for any reason at foreign country, even if you have a valid passport and visa.

Charges for Child:
For child 11 and under, if they share bed in a twin room with two adults, will be charged at the 85% of a regular adult price; if they request bed, the cost will be same as the regular adult price. Child 12 and older will be charged at the regular adult price.

Deviation Charge:
In addition to the airline, hotels, or transfer surcharge, there will be a US$50 per person service charge for any deviation from the tour and subject to availability.

Change Fee:
After reservation confirmed, US$50 will be charged per person for each of the subsequent changes. Once documents and tickets have been issued, no change is permitted.

Ritz Tours reserves the right to exclude any passengers as a tour member, when such person’s health, mental condition, physical infirmity or general deportment impede the operation of the tour or the rights, welfare or enjoyment of other tour members. Any unused tour features are not refundable, exchangeable nor transferable.

Health:
To ensure the smooth operation of the tour, Ritz Tours recommends that travelers be in good health. Please consult with your physician regarding to your wellness and ability to travel long distances. Any physical or mental disability which requires special treatment or attention must be noted at the time of reservation.

Shopping:
To meet your shopping needs, certain shopping stops during the tour have been arranged by the local handling agency. Although Ritz Tours’ tour director is happy to assist you with any shopping requirements, we do not take any responsibility for any items purchased at shops on tour. Any after sales correspondences must be between the passenger and the shops. Observe US Customs restrictions when bring in any goods from tour.

The airlines, airport, bus company, hotels, or local travel agency have their own regulations and insurance policies protecting its clients regarding to safety and other issues during the trip. Customers should contact related operator directly since Ritz Tours is not responsible for what the insurance of the third party tour supplier covers.

Late Booking:
Last minute booking (within 60 days prior to departure date) is subject to availability, and will be assessed a $50 per person surcharge and taken only with full payment. 15. Brief English translation shown in this brochure is based on the Chinese version. Ritz Tours accepts no responsibility for any printing errors or omissions in either Chinese or English version.

Client Privacy:
Ritz Tours will not discuss or disclose any details of our client’s trip with any third party other than the client’s authorized agent, the airlines, hotels, land and cruise operators.

The reservation and payment for Ritz Tours’ any tour shall be deemed to agree and to be consent to these terms and conditions.

Ritz Tours, as tour operator, acts only as an agent for contracted services. All travel arrangements included in this trip are made on participant’s behalf upon the express condition that neither Ritz Tours nor its agents shall be liable or responsible in the absence of its (or their) negligence for any direct, indirect, consequential harm, or irregularity of any kind which may be accessioned by reason of any act or omission of any person or entity, including without limitation, any act of negligence or breach of contract of any third party such as an airline, train, motor coach, private car, cruise vessel, boat, or any other conveyance, hotel, sightseeing provider, local ground-handler, restaurant, etc., which is to or does supply any goods or services for this trip. Participant understands that Ritz Tours neither owns nor operates such third party suppliers and accordingly agrees to seek remedies directly and only with those suppliers and not hold Ritz Tours responsible for their acts, omissions or commissions. Without their limiting the foregoing, Ritz Tours and its agents are not responsible for any losses or expenses due to delay or changes of schedule, over booking of accommodations, default of any third parties, sickness, weather, strike, acts of God, acts of terrorism, force majeure, acts of government’s civil disturbances, war, quarantine, customs regulations, epidemics, criminal activity or for any other cause beyond its control. All such losses or expenses have to be borne and paid for by the participant.

Ritz Tours accepts no responsibility for value, reliability, quality or authenticity of any goods purchased while on tour or for any mailing, freight or shipping arrangements.

Ritz Tours reserves the right to decline to accept, or retain any person as tour participant, should such person’s health, mental condition, physical infirmity or general deportment impede the operation of the tour or the rights, welfare or enjoyment of other tour participant.

Ritz Tours reserves the right to substitute hotels, and alter the itinerary, withdraw any tour and make any desirable alteration for the convenience of the operation of tours.

Ritz Tours reserves the right to cancel the tour prior to departure for any reason. Liability for such cancellation is limited to full refund of money received by Ritz Tours, and this will constitute full settlement with the tour member. All tour fares shown are based on the present value of foreign currencies in relation to the U.S. dollars in effect on November 1, 2007, and in current tariffs on the same date and are subject to change. In China, costs are quoted by the Chinese handling travel agency in US dollars. However, the Chinese handling travel agency reserves the right to alter or adjust its costs. In the event that the Chinese handling travel agency increases the cost of any service within China, tour fares are subject to adjustment. The right is reserved to cancel the tour prior to departure for any reason. In such case, a full refund of all payment will constitute a full settlement with the participant. The Chinese handling travel agency has sole and exclusive control over the operation of all tours in China. The Chinese handling travel agency reserves the right to make alterations or adjustments in the itinerary as to destinations, transportation, accommodations and all other services. Neither Ritz Tours nor any subsidiary or affiliate of Ritz Tours shall be responsible for any such alteration made by the Chinese handling travel agency.

Baggage is carried at owner’s risk and baggage insurance is recommended.

Ritz Tours is not responsible for typographical or printing errors or omissions in this brochure.

Ritz Tours accepts no responsibility for cost, which may occur as a result of a participant failing to secure adequate insurance coverage, which coverage is highly recommended. Generally, your health insurance does not cover expenses outside the USA.

Ritz Tours is not responsible for participant’s visa or passport requirements, nor will a refund of unused services be made, nor reimbursement of any additional expenditure if a participant is denied entry to a country for this or any other reason.

The general conditions under which you agree to utilize the services of Ritz Tours may not be amended in any way, except in writing, by an authorized officer of Ritz Tours. By utilizing the services of Ritz Tours, you agree that the exclusive venue for all claims shall be the County of Los Angeles, State of California, and such claims shall be determined according to the laws and jurisdiction of the State of California.

The issuance of tickets and vouchers shall be deemed to be consent to the above terms and conditions.
